We loved them on “Full House,” “Step By Step” and “7th Heaven.” Best friends Jodie Sweetin, Christine Lakin and Beverley Mitchell come to SIDEWALKS to talk about their careers and new POP TV show, “Hollywood Darlings.”

SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales catches up with the three stars from classic TV shows: Jodie Sweetin (“Full House”), Beverley Mitchell (“7th Heaven”) and Christine Lakin (“Step By Step”). In the interview, they talk about their start, how they met, and starring together on the POP TV improvised comedy, “Hollywood Darlings,” where they play exaggerated versions of themselves in their current Hollywood lives.
Mini-Biographies:
Born in Los Angeles, California, Jodie Sweetin is known to the world as Stephanie Tanner on ABC’s “Full House,” as well as the current revival/spinoff on Netflix called “Fuller House.” She started her career in commercials and print ads. After finishing school, Sweetin went on to the host the second season of the Fuse TV show “Pants-Off Dance-Off,” appeared in independent films such as “Port City” and “Redefining Love,” and five webisodes of the internet show, “Can’t Get Arrested”. Additionally, she was seen as Leia in the TV-pilot “Singled Out.” In 2016, Sweetin appeared as a celebrity contestant on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” (Season 22). She published her memoir, “UnSweetined, in 2009.
Born in Dallas, Texas, Christine Lakin is best known as Alicia “Al” Lambert on “Step by Step.” She got her start acting in commercials and her first major role was playing Young Rose in “The Rose and the Jackal.” She recurs as the voice of Joyce Kinney on “Family Guy” and as Sumo’s Mom on Cartoon Network’s “Clarence.” Some of Lakin’s films and TV credits include “Modern Family,” “Mother’s Day,” “CSI:,” “The League,” “Melissa and Joey,” “Valentine’s Day,” “Veronica Mars,” and “You Again.” In video games, her voice is heard in “The Walking Dead,” “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege,” “WildStar,” and “Mass Effect: Andromeda.” Lakin appears as a host for programs on CMT, VH1 and E! and appeared briefly as a sidekick for Craig Kilborn’s short-lived “The Kilborn File.” Outside of acting, Lakin is a choreographer, where some of her works have appeared on “Westworld,” “True Blood,” and “The Goldbergs.” As a producer, she is the creator of the storytelling show, “Worst Ever.”
Born in Arcadia, California, Beverley Mitchell is best known for her long-running role as Lucy Camden on “7th Heaven.” She started her career in commercials and appeared in a number of popular TV shows, like “Melrose Place,” “Quantum Leap” and “Baywatch”; TV-movies; and recurred on the TV series, “Phenom.” Following the end of “7th Heaven,” Mitchell went on to co-star in “The Secret Life of the American Teenage.” Some of her films include “The Crow: City of Angels,” “Saw II,” “Snowmen,” “Toxin,” ”The Dog Who Saved Easter,” and “Uploaded.” Mitchell also created her own blog called “Growing Up Hollywood.”
