Mini-Biography:
Born in Poland and later immigrated with his family to Melbourne, Australia, Ben Lewin is a director and screenwriter. He has made films around the world, from England and France to United States and Australia. Some of his films as a writer and/or director include “Paperback Romance,” “The Dunera Boys,” “Georgia,” “The Favour, the Watch, and the Very Big Fish” and “The Sessions.”

“The Sessions” Synopsis:
Based on the autobiographical writings of California–based journalist and poet Mark O’Brien, “The Sessions” tells the story of a man who lived most of his life in an iron lung who is determined – at age 38 – to lose his virginity. With the help of his therapist and the guidance of his priest, he sets out to make his dream a reality.
