Video Content: “Twilight’s” Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone (2011): During the San Francisco premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1” event at the historic Fillmore, SIDEWALKS host Maaika Westen speaks to the film’s co-stars, Ashley Greene (plays Alice Cullen) and Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) about the film. In addition, the actors talk about their other activities.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Greene planned to begin a career in modeling, but she found herself in acting. Started with appearances in TV’s “Punk’d ,” “Crossing Jordan,” “MadTV,” and “Shark,” Reed found fame playing Alice in “Twilight.” In between the production of the “Twilight” film series, she has co-starred in “Skateland,” “Radio Free Albemuth,” “A Warrior’s Heart,” “The Apparition,” and “Butter.”
Born in born in Singapore, Rathbone is multi-talented. He is an actor, as well as a musician and former TV interviewer. One of his first gig was a celebrity interviewer on “Disney 411.” He also appeared in TV series and films: “The O.C.,” “Close to Home.,” “No Ordinary Family,” “Criminal Minds,” “The Last Airbender,” “S. Darko,” “Molding Clay,” “Pray for Morning,” and “Travis and Henry.” In 2005, he played Nicholas Fiske in ABC Family’s “Beautiful People.” As a musician, Rathbone is a performer with the group, 100 Monkeys.
