In Memoriam: Host Cindy Rhodes had an opportunity to interview Anne Heche once in 2015, when she was promoting the TV series “Dig” with co-star Jason Isaacs.

In the full interview (without show clips), SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes talked the lead stars of USA Network’s “Dig.” The actors spoke about how they chose the “Dig” roles (Heche as Lynn Monahan and Isaacs as Peter Connelly), where the series had been filmed, Heche’s career beyond acting, and Issacs’ popularity with the “Harry Potter” fans.

Born in Aurora, Ohio, Anne Heche is an actress, whose film credits include “Six Days Seven Nights,” “Return to Paradise,” “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” “Donnie Brasco,” “Wag the Dog,” “Psycho,” “John Q,.” and “Volcano.” On TV, she had starring roles in “Another World,” “Men in Trees,” “Hung,” and “Save Me,” as well as recurring roles in “Ally McBeal,” “Everwood,” “Nip/Tuck,” and “The Michael J. Fox Show.” Anne Heche died on August 11, 2022 at age 53.

Born in Liverpool, Merseyside, Jason Isaacs has played Lucius Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” films, Colonel William Tavington in “The Patriot,” and in TV series as Detective Michael Britten in “Awake,” Michael Caffee in “Brotherhood,” Captain Gabriel Lorca in the first season of “Star Trek: Discovery” and Rob “Griff” Griffith on the short-lived “Good Sam.” Additionally, he plays Jackson Brodie in the British drama television series “Case Histories.” Some of his stage performances include “Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes” (both parts “Millennium Approaches” and “Perestroika”) and “The Dumb Waiter.” He was the voice of Ra’s al Ghul in the animated film, “Batman: Under the Red Hood” and Sinestro in “Green Lantern: Emerald Knights.” He was the voice of The Inquisitor on “Star Wars Rebels.”
