Mini-Biography:
Angela Simmons
is a fashion designer, actor, and businesswoman, as well as the daughter of the Joseph Simmons (aka Rev. Run of Run–D.M.C fame). She has ventures into fashion design, when she and her sister Vanessa launched Pastry Footwear by designing 4 pairs of shoes. Simmons opened her first clothing boutique, Angela IAM in Brooklyn, NY. On TV, she has appeared in “Run’s House,” “Daddy’s Girls,” and BET’s “106th and Park.” Simmons is the executive producer of “Growing Up Hip Hop,” which captures the lives of Hip Hop industry and business mogul families. She is a spokesperson and advocate for women and teen girl issues, as well as an active supporter of PETA.
