SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talks to Alice Braga about her career, working on projects with her acting family, appearing in “City of God,” and her starring role as Teresa Mendoza in USA Network’s “Queen of the South.”

Mini-Biography:
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Alice Braga’s career began in Brazilian films, which includes “City of God,” ”Only God Knows,” and “Lower City.” Braga was in the popular Brazilian television program, “Carandiru, Outras Historias” as Vânia. Her English-language debut was with the film “Journey to the End of Night,” but she found international fame for her co-starring role in “I Am Legend.” Other film projects are “Repo Men,” “Predators,” “The Rite,” “Redbelt,” “Crossing Over,” “On The Road,” “The Ardor,” “Kill Me Three Times,” “The Shack,” and “Elysium.” Her mother Ana Braga and aunt Sônia Braga are also actresses.
