Lee talks to Alan Tudyk about appearing at sci-fi/comic conventions, becoming an actor, his first professional role, experience with “Firefly,” and creating, writing, starring and directing the web series “Con Man,” which has broken records as the most successful crowdfunding project for a TV series.

Mini-Biography:
Born in El Paso, Texas, Alan Tudyk is an actor, who found major playing Hoban “Wash” Washburne in the cult-following “Firefly” TV series and follow-up feature film, “Serenity.” He co-starred in comedy “Suburgatory” as Dr. Noah Werner and starred in season two of “Newsreaders” as Reagan Biscayne, as well as appeared in multiple episodes of TV show such as “Strangers with Candy,” “Arrested Development,” “V,” and “Dollhouse.” Some of Tudyk’s film credits are “Tucker & Dale vs. Evil,” ”DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story,” “A Knight’s Tale,” ” 42,” “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials,” and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” as droid K-2SO. Tudyk has done a variety of voice work for both TV and feature films, including “Family Guy,” “The Life & Times of Tim,” “Good Vibes,” “Phineas & Ferb,” “Young Justice,” “Ice Age,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Big Hero 6,” “Zootopia,” “Moana,” and “Frozen.”
