As part of our Actor’s Spotlight series, SIDEWALKS correspondent Dipanshu Sharma talks to actor Trent Buxton about his unique background, how he got into acting, and his upcoming film, “Paragon.”

Mini-Biography:
Originally from San Jose, California, Trent Buxton came into acting a later later in life. He was an accomplished athlete, where he was a league and section champion wrestler, black belt in shotokan karate, starting wide receiver in high school football, and in the senior baseball league, among other sports. Buxton eventually went to POST (Peace Officer Standards Training) academy to become a law enforcement officer and later enlisted in the US Air Force where he became an Intelligence and Counter Terrorism Specialist. His acting career began when Buxton accepted and enrolled in the two year program at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Method Acting in West Hollywood. Since then, he has been building his acting resume by appearing in various projects, including “Unhinged,” “Behind Closed Doors,” “Tenet,” “Paragon,” and “Secular Soulmates.”
