Meet Talia Davis in our Actor’s Spotlight
As part of our Actor’s Spotlight series, “Sidewalks Entertainment” introduces actress Talia A. Davis in this expanded version of her profile piece.
Davis began her professional career performing on stages across the North American continent as a child actor touring with “Barney and Friends” in the late 90s into the early 2000s. When she relocated to Los Angeles, Davis performed on a stage productions like “Since ’76” and “Fefu & Her Friends” (an immersive experience which was the first production to be performed inside Frank Lloyd Wright’s historic landmark Hollyhock House in Hollywood). She has been a voice actor on projects, such as “Dynasty Warriors XIIII,” “Pop Sockets,” and “Para Verte Mejor,” as well as appeared on-screen in “Sinister Squad,” “Your Love is Strong,” and “He Watches Over Me.” Awarded performing arts and academic scholarships, Davis has a bachelor’s degree in theater and psychology. Beyond acting, Davis has a “Pomp & Unpopular” podcast program. One of her interests and passions is her love for children and community. She is a volunteer at Free Arts and is a trained behavioral therapist, who works with children with autism. She is currently with the Open City Acting Studio Conservatory Program, where she continues to hone her skills and deepen her connection to her creative instrument through Meisner Technique with mentor and instructor, Alani iLongwe.
