Meet Dipanshu Sharma in our Actor’s Spotlight
As part of our Actor’s Spotlight series, “Sidewalks Entertainment” introduces Dipanshu Sharma.
Born in Noida, India, Sharma is a classically trained actor, who has been interested in performing arts and sports when he was 4 years old. Graduated with Bachelor in business administration, he holds a diploma in marketing from London school of Economics. Sharma joined the Sahitya Kala Parishad Group, where he got the opportunity to perform at the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi, India. He has worked with Indian production company, They See Records, for their music video “Rang Lagya.” Sharma has worked on a feature and many video shorts, including playing a detective in the feature film, “Secular Soulmates.” He co-wrote and acted in as one of the lead characters in the play, “The Mask in Us.” Outside of acting, Sharma was a brand model for Aimz Media. Currently, he is working on learning an Indian classical fight-form, Kalaripayattu. Sharma speaks three languages, Hindi, Punjabi and English.
On “Sidewalks Entertainment,” Sharma, along with with fellow correspondent Evelyn Arreaga, interviewed singer / songwriter Cat Thompson.
