Along with director Brian Percival, host Veronica Castro interviews  “The Book Thief” stars, Academy Award® winner Geoffrey Rush and teen actress Sophie Nélisse, who talk about working on the film and auditioning.

Mini-Biographies:
Born in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, Geoffrey Rush is one of Australia’s leading actors. He became known internationally for playing pianist David Helfgott in “Shine,” where he won numerous awards for the role, including an Academy Awards® and Golden Globe Award®. Since that role, he has appeared in a number of projects, such as “Oscar and Lucinda,””Elizabeth,” “Shakespeare in Love,” Bille August’s adaptation of “Les Miserables,” “Quills,” “Swimming Upstream,” “The Life and Death of Peter Sellers,” “Candy,” “The King’s Speech,” and many others. “Pirates of the Caribbean” fans know him as Captain Hector Barbossa in ”The Curse of the Black Pearl” and sequels “Dead Man’s Chest,” “At World’s End” and “On Stranger Tides.”

Sophie Nélisse is a Canadian actress, who is best known for her role in “Monsieur Lazhar,” where she won a Genie Award and Jutra Awards, as well as a Young Artist Award nomination as Best Leading Young Actress in an International Feature Film. Other roles include “Ésimésac” and sitcom “Les Parents.”

Born in Liverpool in the United Kingdom, Brian Percival is a director. Some of the projects he directed are “Pleasureland,” “North & South,” “ShakespeaRe-Told (Much Ado About Nothing),” “The Ruby in the Smoke,” and “The Old Curiosity Shop,” as well as seven episodes of “Downton Abbey.” Percival won a BAFTA Award for Best Short Film for his nine-minute short “About A Girl.”
