Mini-Biography:
Born in Bossier City, Louisiana, Jared Leto is a multi-talented artist. Besides being a respected actor, he is also the lead singer and musician for the popular band, Thirty Seconds to Mars.
As an actor, audience first discovered him in the cult following TV drama, “My So-Called Life.” From there, he went to the big screen with films such as “How to Make an American Quilt,” “Prefontaine,” “The Thin Red Line,” “Girl, Interrupted,” “Urban Legend,” “Requiem for a Dream,” “Fight Club,” “Panic Room,” “American Psycho,” “Highway,” “Lord of War,” “Lonely Hearts,” “Chapter 27,” and “Mr. Nobody.”
In music, Leto and his Thirty Seconds To Mars bandmates (which include older brother Shannon Leto) released their self-titled debut album in 2002, which was followed by “A Beautiful Lie,” “This Is War,” and “Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams.” Leto also directed some of the group’s music videos, including “The Kill,” “Kings and Queens,” and “Hurricane.”
