SIDEWALKS correspondent Mika Abogado interviews actors Craig Robinson and Seth Rogen (who also co-wrote and co-direct the film) and co-producer / writer / co-director Evan Goldberg about their apocalyptic laughter, “This Is The End,” which also stars James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, and Danny McBride.

Mini-Biographies:
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Seth Rogen, who made an earlier appearance on “Sidewalks Entertainment” in 2011 with Will Reiser for “50/50,” is an actor, stand-up comedian, producer, and screenwriter. Started his career as a standup comedian, Seth’s early TV roles include “Freaks and Geeks” and “Undeclared,” where he was also a staff writer. From there, he went on to write for “Da Ali G Show.” Rogen was a co-producer and co-star in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” which was followed up by “Knocked Up” and “Funny People.” He co-wrote and co-starred in “Superbad,” “Pineapple Express,” and “The Green Hornet.” Other roles include “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy ,” “You, Me and Dupree,” “Zack and Miri Make a Porno,” “50/50,” “For a Good Time, Call…,” and “Observe and Report.”

Born in Chicago, funnyman Craig Robinson is an actor, stand-up comedian and singer. On TV, he played Darryl Philbin on “The Office.” On the big screen, he was in “Zack and Miri Make a Porno,” “Pineapple Express,” “Miss March,” “Shrek Forever After,” and “Hot Tub Time Machine.” He had cameos in “Daddy’s Little Girls,” “Knocked Up,” “Fanboys,” “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” and “The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard.” In the music scene, comedian Jerry Minor and Robinson had a comedy act where they performed as “L. Witherspoon & Chucky.” He has a band called Nasty Delicious.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Evan Goldberg is a writer, producer and director. He joined the staff of “Da Ali G Show,” alongside friend Seth Rogen. Together, Rogen and Goldberg collaborated on several popular films, “Knocked Up”, “Superbad,” “Pineapple Express,” “Funny People,” and “The Green Hornet.” He wrote the Season 21st episode of “The Simpsons” called “Homer the Whopper.” In 2007, Rogen and Goldberg wrote the short comedy film, “Jay and Seth versus the Apocalypse,” which was adapted into a feature film, “This Is the End.”
