SIDEWALKS’ Cindy Rhodes talks to the former child actress about watching her old TV series “Full House” in reruns, is there any reunion plans, what she is doing now, and her starring role in the TV-movie, “Finding Normal.”
Mini-Biography:
Born in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California, Candace Cameron-Bure is a successful child actress who started her career in commercials, which led to appearances on TV shows including “St. Elsewhere,” “Growing Pains” (appearing with real-life brother Kirk Cameron), “Who’s The Boss?,” and “Punky Brewster.”
For eight seasons, she became known as D.J., one of the children of Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) in the very popular family sitcom, “Full House.”
She married Russian NHL hockey player Valeri Bure and took a break from acting following the birth of her child. Currently, the couple has three children. Additionally, she wrote the bestselling book, “Reshaping It All: Motivation for Physical and Spiritual Fitness” and became a motivational speaker.
Returning to acting, Cameron-Bure has appeared in ”The Wager,“ ”Moonlight and Mistletoe,” guest-starred in TV series “That’s So Raven” and “Twice in a Lifetime,“ and had a main role in “Make It or Break It.”
