Mini-Biography:
Born in Los Angeles, California, Lee Meriwether is an actress, model, TV broadcaster, and the winner of the Miss America pageant.
The multi-talented entertainer is best known for TV’s “Barnaby Jones” and as Catwoman for the feature film version of the 1966 “Batman” TV series. She was Miss San Francisco, Miss California and, then in 1955, was Miss America. Additionally, she was a TV broadcaster on NBC’s “The Today Show.”
Meriwether was a regular on “The Time Tunnel,” “The Munsters Today,” “The New Andy Griffith Show,” and as Ruth Martin on “All My Children.”
Some of her guest roles include “The Fugitive,” “The Lloyd Bridges Show,” “Star Trek,” ”Perry Mason,” “F Troop,” “The Love Boat,” and “Fantasy Island.“ Recently, she has appeared in “Desperate Housewives,” “Hawaii 5-0,” and “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.”
