Mini-Biography:
Born in Los Angeles, Chris Pine is an actor, whose parents — actors Robert Pine (“CHiPs”) and Gwynne Gilford — were in the business. He started his professional career in TV with guest roles in “ER,” “The Guardian,” and “CSI: Miami.”
In 2009, he gained international fame as Captain Kirk in the rebooted “Star Trek” film series. Pine’s other highlighted roles include “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement,” “Just My Luck,” “ Smokin’ Aces,” “Unstoppable,” and “This Means War.”
