Mika’s Take:
Director Alex Kurtzman brings a movie filled with drama, wittiness and money. By money, I mean $150,000 worth. A business man (Chris Pine) experiences a death in the family and is faced with the task of delivering an inheritance of 150,000 in cash to his sister whom he’s never met. And with this lump sum, forms a brilliant and touching movie.  Once Sam’s (Chris Pine) father passes away, he leaves a bag of cash for his son, to be delivered to his sister (Elizabeth Banks) whom he has not heard one word of. Sam, who ponders if the money should be kept for himself, is caught in the middle of a family secret and his own financial problems.

It’s not every day that you hear of such a story, which is what drew me in the most. A well-developed storyline, followed by a heartfelt cast brought me tear-filled moments and warmth. It truly touches homes and it’s more than a story about a father’s will, but a touching one of a family who learns of each other’s existence that changes their lives forever.

It’s a must-see for movie lovers of all kinds and it will definitely make you want to cherish the moments with your family.
