Since 2007, Amber Marshall has been playing Amy Fleming in the family drama, “Heartland,” which is celebrating another season on Up Faith & Family (in the United States).

SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales welcomes Amber Marshall, the lead star of the long-running, Canadian family drama, “Heartland.” They talk about her love of animals, getting into acting, does she wants a singing career, and the best moments in starring in “Heartland.”

Mini-Biography:

Born on June 2, 1988, in London, Ontario, Amber Marshall is best known for role as Amy Fleming in the long-running CBC / Up TV series “Heartland.” She won the first-ever Canada’s Screen Star Award at the inaugural Canadian Screen Awards. Marshall began her acting career in television commercials and then guest roles in various TV shows, including “Twice in a Lifetime,” “Doc,” “Monk,” “Dark Oracle,” and TV-movie “The Elizabeth Smart Story.” She also appeared in feature film “Resident Evil: Apocalypse” and the Hallmark movie “My Christmas Guide.” During the breaks between filming seasons of “Heartland, Marshall contributes her time at a veterinary clinic and has volunteered at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, where she participated in raptor classes to gain experience working with falcons and hawks.
