SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes talks to the country singer / songwriter about his career, what type of music he likes to listen to, and his 2nd album, “Hard 2 Love.”
Born in Sumter, South Carolina, Lee Brice is a country singer and songwriter.
Brice’s song from his first album, “Love Like Crazy,” set a record for the longest chart run in history on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart (56 weeks), while he also gained the title of the 2010 and 2011 Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of the Year. In April 2012, his single, “A Woman Like You” from his sophomore album “Hard 2 Love,” reached the number #1 spot.
As a songwriter, Brice has written hit songs for Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton. In 2011, Eli Young Band hit song, “Crazy Girl,” was co-written by Brice and was the most played country song.
