SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales welcomes actors Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri, the young stars of Disney+’s fantasy series, “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” based on the book series by author Rick Riordan. Plus, a fan comment from Sam in Los Angeles.

Mini-Biographies:

Born on Virginia Beach, Virginia, Walker Scobell plays the title character of Percy Jackson in “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” He starred in the films “The Adam Project” and “Secret Headquarters.” In May 2023, Scobell joined the cast of the film, “Blood Knot,” starring Michael Douglas.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Leah Sava Jeffries plays Annabeth Chase in “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” In television, she made her acting debut in Fox’s “Empire” playing the recurring role of Lola Lyon, as well as the role of Brandi on “Rel.” In films, she co-starred with Idris Elba in the film “Beast” and the Prime Video holiday movie “Something from Tiffany’s.”

Born in Ventura, California, Aryan Simhadri is cast as Grover Underwood, Percy’s friend and a satyr who conceals his true identity as a twelve-year-old boy using magic in “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” In films, he has been seen in “The Main Event,” “Spin,” and “Cheaper by the Dozen.” Simhadri has done voice work on film “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run” and TV shows “Mira, Royal Detective,” “Adventure Time: Distant Lands,” and “Adventures in Wonder Park.”
