Mini-Biography:
Born in Mount Vernon, New York, Tami Roman, a TV personality, model, businesswoman and actress, is the host and consulting producer of MTV’s “Caught in the Act: Unfaithful.” She gained fame during her time on “Real World: Los Angeles” in 1993, then later as a main cast member on VH1’s “Basketball Wives,” as well as spinoff “Basketball Wives LA.” In acting, she played roles in “Belle’s,” “The Family Business,” “Saints & Sinners,” “Truth Be Told,” and “Haus of Vicious.” On the radio, she was on “Tami Roman’s Love Talk & Hot Jamz” with advice columnist and rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys and Reggie Youngblood. Earlier in her career, Roman was the dealer on the 2001 revival of “Card Sharks” and started an R&B group called Reality, which changed its name to Reality to Female.
