Mini-Biography:
He is known throughout the world as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, a legendary performer in professional wrestling. Austin, who was born as Steven James Anderson, has wrestled for promotions such as World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In 2003, Austin retired from the ring due to injuries sustained throughout his career, although he still makes occasional appearances on WWE. He had a recurring role as Inspector Jake Cage in episodes of CBS’ “Nash Bridges.” In 2007, Austin became an action film star, similar to other wrestling players such as The Rock and John Cena, with the film “The Condemned.” Austin hosts the podcast “The Steve Austin Show” and the WWE video podcast “Broken Skull Sessions.” Additionally, Austin hosted the reality competition series, “Redneck Island,” “Tough Enough”, “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge,” and “Straight Up Steve Austin.”
