Boome, who is a former English professional ice hockey player, received his culinary training in England, Switzerland, and Canada. He hosted “UKTV’s Food” co-production “Wild and Fresh,” “Danny by the Sea,” “Coastal Kitchen,” “Local Food Heroes,” and had a regular spot on ITV’s “Summer This Morning”. In 2008, Boome started “Rescue Chef.”
Boome, who also appeared on “Live! with Regis and Kelly” and “The Chew,” is the founder of the non-profit organization Better Fed Than Dead, which helps Americans become more empowered with their lifestyle choices. He also runs a cooking school, featuring courses for both novice cooks and experienced chefs.
