Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Elizabeth Banks is an actress seen on both the small and big screens.

Banks made her film debut in the 1998 independent feature “Surrender Dorothy,” but found major fame in the comedy, “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” Her other films include “Definitely, Maybe,” “Catch Me If You Can,” “Zack and Miri Make a Porno,” “W.”, “Meet Bill,” “Role Models,” “Wet Hot American Summer,” “The Uninvited” and “Slither.”

Banks also had recurring roles in TV’s “Scrubs” and “30 Rock,” as well as in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man” film series, playing Betty Brant.
