SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to singer / songwriter Skip Marley about his music and being the grandson of legendary Bob Marley. Skip is joined by Kathryn Leary, who is the co-founder of OneFirelight, an inspirational wellness platform that promotes unity, strength and a sense of balance.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Skip Marley is a singer/songwriter, who is the grandson of Bob Marley. He released his first single, “Cry to Me,” in 2015, followed by other singles “Life,” “Lions,” “Calm Down,” “Refugee,” “Cruel World,” and “Enemy.” In 2020, Marley presented the EP “Higher Place,” which featured songs such as “That’s Not True” (featuring Damian Marley), “Slow Down” (with H.E.R.), “No Love,” and “Make Me Feel” (featuring Rick Ross and Ari Lennox). He also did collaborations with Katy Perry, Major Lazer, Shavia, and Bugzy Malone. He has been nominated for awards, including Grammys, NAACP Image Awards, and MTV Video Music Award. He won a 2018 BMI Award with Katy Perry for “Chained to the Rhythm.” In 2016, Marley appeared a GAP advertising campaign.
Kathryn Leary is a writer, communications and marketing executive, professional speaker, trade developer, and global brand builder with over 30 years of experience. Additionaly, she has been leading spiritual yoga practices and workshops. Leary was formerly President and CEO of The Leary Group Inc., which specialized in international marketing and communications, trade development and executive training for global success. She is the co-founder of OneFirelight.
