SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales interviews Ernie Hudson in a 2022 interview, where the actor talks about the “Ghostbusters” franchise and working on the latest sequel “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” which is now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD. The interview is followed by our 2007 interview that then-host Rafael Siegel did when we met him at WonderCon.

Mini-Biography:
Born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Ernie Hudson has a long acting career. Some of his film roles include Winston Zeddemore in the “Ghostbusters” film series, Sergeant Darryl Albrecht in “The Crow,” Justin Jones in “Leviathan,” Solomon in “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,” Sergeant O’Malley in “Airheads,” Reggie in “The Basketball Diaries,” Captain Monroe Kelly in “Congo,” FBI Assistant Director Harry McDonald in “Miss Congeniality,” and Principal Turner in “The Ron Clark Story.” He also appeared as Uncle Bill Jenkins in a cameo on 2016’s rebooted “Ghostbusters.” On TV, Hudson played Warden Leo Glynn in HBO’s “Oz,” Senior Deputy John Henry Barnes in “10-8: Officers on Duty,” Detective Ridley on “Desperate Housewives,” Dr. Ken Fields in “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” Frank Gibson in “Law & Order,” Jacob in “Grace and Frankie,” Jacob Mann in “Graves,” L.C. Duncan in “The Family Business,” and Joseph Vaughn in “L.A.’s Finest.” In animation, he was the voice of Agent Bill Fowler in “Transformers: Prime,” Atticus in “Infinity Train,” and John Wayne ‘Jet Wayne’ Junior in season2 of “Hot Streets.”
