As part of our Actor’s Spotlight series, “Sidewalks Entertainment” introduces actress / singer Proud Sangouthai.
Proud Sangouthai is actress and singer. She was first trained as an actress at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, then studied at The Lee Strasberg Film and Theatre Institute and Open City Acting Studio, both located in Los Angeles. A member of Thai Theatre Network, Sangouthai has appeared in many theater productions, including “Ascent” at the Hollywood Fringe Theatre Festival. Additionally, she starred in the comedy short, “The Pregnant Hand.” Her short film, “Silence Show Audition,” was selected by Culver City Film Festival 2019. Sangouthai, who is bilingual and speaks fluent English and Thai, has represented “The New American,” an American clothing brand in their two collections of clothing and masks.
