In an interview to promote the season 1 Blu-ray, DVD + Limited Edition Steelbook release of “Star Trek: Picard,” SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to actress Michelle Hurd about her time on “Law and Order: SVU,” being a part of “Picard,” having “Trek” fans, and working with Jonathan Frakes (Riker) as a director.

Mini-Biography:
Born in New York City, Michelle Hurd has been a working actress for over two decades. Along with portraying Dana Kramer in “Another World,” she is remembered for playing Monique Jeffries in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” Athena Barnes in “Leap Years,” Ellen “Shepherd” Briggs in “Blindspot,” Colleen Manus in “The Glades,” and Linda Bates Emery in “Ash vs. Evil Dead.” She also had recurring roles on popular series, such as “New York Undercover,” “Malcolm & Eddie,” “ER,” “90210,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “Devious Maids,” “Daredevil,” and “Lethal Weapon.” Some of the films Hurd appeared in are “Being Frank,” “Be Afraid,” “We Don’t Belong Here,” “Search Engines,” “Within The Dark,” “Girl Most Likely,” “Random Hearts,” “Personals,” “Double Parked,” “Wolf” and “King of New York.” On “Star Trek: Picard,” she plays Rafaella “Raffi” Musiker, Picard’s former Starfleet first officer.
