SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales interviews Jim Sturgess and Brooklynn Prince, the lead stars of Apple TV+’s “Home Before Dark,” a family drama series based on the life of young journalist Hilde Lysiak.
Mini-Biographies:
Born in Wandsworth, London, Jim Sturgess is an actor and singer. In films, he played Jude in “Across the Universe.” Ben Campbell in “21,” Gavin Kossef in “Crossing Over,” Janusz Wieszczek in “The Way Back,” Adam Kirk on ” Upside Down,” Edward Newgate in “Stonehearst Asylum,” and various parts in “Cloud Atlas.” On TV, he co-starred with David Schwimmer in AMC’s “Feed the Beast” as Dion Patras and in Hulu’s “Hard Sun” as Charlie Hicks. In music, Srurgess was a member of the bands Saint Faith and Dilated Spies. He also performed songs in his films ” Across the Universe,” “21,” Crossing Over,” and “Heartless.”
Born in Florida, Brooklynn Prince became the breakout star of “The Florida Project,” where she was nominated and won several awards, including a Critics’ Choice Movie Awards for Best Young Performer.” Prince appeared in “The Turning,” “Monsters at Large,” “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part,” and “The Angry Birds Movie 2.”
