SIDEWALKS host Richard R. Lee talks to actress Karan Ashley about her start in music with the K.R.U.S.H, her auditioning for “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” and producing the independent film, “The Order.”
Mini-Biography:
Born in Odessa, Texas, Karan Ashley is an actress, singer and producer. She is best known for playing Aisha Campbell, the second Yellow Power Ranger in “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.” Before “Rangers,” she was one of the members of the girl group K.R.U.S.H. Ashley has appeared in guest roles on popular series, such as “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper,” “Kenan & Kel,” “The Steve Harvey Show,” and “The Parkers.” As a producer, she is presenting the independent film, “The Order,” which stars many of the “Power Rangers” cast members.
