Video Content: Werner Herzog  (2011): In a special one-on-one interview, SIDEWALKS host Maaika Westen talks to the director and writer about his career and  “Into the Abyss,”  a documentary film focusing on two men convicted of a triple homicide.

Born in Munich, Germany, Herzog is known as one of the main names of directors in New German Cinema, a period between the late 1960s into the 1980s.
