Video Content: T-Pain (2011): SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes interviews the talented singer-songwriter-producer about his favorite moment in his musical career, the non-rap/R&B performer he has a wish to work with, and his 4th studio album, “RevolveR.”

Born in Tallahassee, Florida, T-Pain started his musical career as a member of the rap group Nappy Headz. After joining Akon on his label, he recorded and released his debut album, “Rappa Ternt Sanga,” which featured the Billboard Top Ten hits with “I’m Sprung” and “I’m ‘n Luv (Wit a Stripper).” In 2007, he released the studio album, “Epiphany,” which was followed by “Thr33 Ringz” a year later.

Established in 2005, T-Pain founded his own record label called Nappy Boy Entertainment.  In 2008, T-Pain won his first Grammy® for Best Rap Song (for “Good Life”) with Kanye West. He acted in the film, “Lottery Ticket.” In techmology, T-Pain has expanded his brand with I Am T-Pain mobile app, which spawned the I Am T-Pain Mic and T-Pain Effect.
