Mini-Biography:
An Iranian born Russian who moved to the US, Tanya Lemani is an actress and belly dancer. She made appearances on TV (“The Man from U.N.C.L.E., “I Dream of Jeannie,” “Get Smart,” “McHale’s Navy,” “It Takes a Thief,” ” The Flying Nun,” “The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries,” “Hart to Hart,” “The Bionic Woman,” “L.A. Law”) and movies (“The King’s Pirate,” “Sketches of a Strangler,” “Extreme Vengeance,” “Did Baby Shoot Her Sugardaddy?”), as well as TV specials with Elvis Presley and Bob Hope. A memorable role for Lemani was playing dancer Kara in the original “Star Trek” episode, “Wolf in the Fold.” Along with working for 12 years at Hyde Park Entertainment, she worked as location manager, production manager, producer, choreographer, writer, director, associate producer, and choreographer.
