SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to Jordin Sparks about her career since winning “American Idol,” which recording artist she was excited to meet, and, as part of the tour, her involvement with Kalahari Resorts & Conventions and USA Swimming Foundation’s “Make a Splash” program.

Mini-Biography:
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Jordin Sparks is a talented singer, songwriter and actress. She became a household name when she won season sixth of “American Idol” at age 17. She released her self-titled debut studio album later that year and had hit singles, including “Tattoo” and “No Air” (a duet with Chris Brown). Her other albums are “Battlefield” and “Right Here Right Now.” Sparks made her stage debut as Nina Rosario in the Broadway musical “In The Heights” and feature film debut as Sparkle Anderson in “Sparkle,” co-starring Whitney Houston and Derek Luke. Along with a fragrance branded as “Because of You…,” she has a KIN Network web series called “Heart of Batter with Jordin Sparks.”
