Born in Washington, D.C., Christopher Meloni is best known for his TV credits, including as NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler on NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (for its first twelve seasons), Chris Keller on HBO’s “Oz,” and Nick Sax on Syfy’s “Happy!” Other TV highlights are “True Blood,” “Surviving Jack,” “Wet Hot American Summer,” “Underground,” “Dinosaurs,” “The Fanelli Boys,” and “Veep.” In films, he appeared “Man of Steel,” “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle,” “12 Monkeys,” “Runaway Bride,” “42,” and “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.”
