SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to actors Derek Wilson and Eliza Coupe about Coupe’s comedy background, Wilson’s Shakespearean career, and working on Hulu’s “Future Man.”
Mini-Biographies:
Born and raised in Plymouth, New Hampshire, Eliza Coupe is known for her roles in the ABC comedy “Happy Endings,” the final two seasons of the ABC version of “Scrubs,” and her recurring role on ABC’s “Quantico.” Additionally, she had starring role in USA Network’s “Benched” and can be seen on Sony Crackle’s “Rob Riggle’s Ski Master Academy.” Some of her films include “I Think I Love My Wife,” “What’s Your Number?,” “Shanghai Calling,” “Naked,” and “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.”
From Bowling Green, Kentucky, Derek Wilson started his career on stage with appearances in “Anna Christie” and 22 plus Shakespeare’s plays (such as the Broadway revival of “Macbeth”). On TV screens, he portrayed Donnie Schenck in the first season of AMC’s “Preacher.” His many other TV credits include “The Good Wife,” “Person of Interest,” “Aquarius,” and “Rectify.” In movies, he was in “Wet Behind the Ears,” “Life Hack,” and “Oxalis.”
