Lee interviews the musical performers — Aqualung, Lucy Schwartz and Sleeping At Last (Ryan O’Neal) — about being a part of the soundtrack for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1.”
Formed in 1999, Sleeping at Last is an independent rock band from Wheaton, Illinois. Singer and musician Ryan O’Neal is currently the sole member of the group, who had a major label released in 2003 called “Ghosts.” In 2010, the group presented three songs on the first day of each month for one year in an unique project called “Yearbook.” Sleeping’s songs has been featured in TV shows “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice.”
Born in Southampton, England, Aqualung is a singer and songwriter, who had hit singles “Strange and Beautiful” (a song used in Volkswagen New Beetle commercials) and “Brighter Than Sunshine.” Many of his songs are used in films and television spots.
Born in Los Angeles, Schwartz’s music is heard on many films and TV shows, including “Shrek Forever After,” “Monte Carlo,” “Adam,” “The Women, “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Army Wives,” and “Parenthood” (a tune she wrote is used as the international theme song). The singer-songwriter has a duet with Aqualung called “Cold” on “The Breaking Dawn” soundtrack and has an EP out called “Keep Me.”
