SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino about auditioning for the original run of “Jersey Shore,” who changed the most in the cast since the final episode, and how they got the gang back together for the latest version, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”
Mini-Biographies:
Michael Sorrentino, also known as The Situation, was part of cast during the six-season original run of “Jersey Shore.” Along with starring and executive producing on nine episodes of TVGN’s “The Sorrentinos,” he also starred in the webseries “New Stage” as s Angel Adonis, a hip-hop star and judge on a reality television singing competition. He was a contestant on Season 11 of “Dancing with the Stars,” (partnered with Karina Smirnoff); a contestant on UK’s version of “Celebrity Big Brother”; and appeared on Fox’s “The Choice,” Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America,” and WEtv’s “Marriage Boot Camp” editions. He also appeared in the film “The Three Stooges” and had in a cameo role on ABC’s “Suburgatory.”
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Vinny Guadagnino is a TV personality and actor. Following the success of “Jersey Shore,” MTV worked with him again on the talk show, “The Show with Vinny,” where he invited various celebrities into his home. Guadagnino guest-starred on MTV’s “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” and The CW’s “90210,” as well as appeared on the Syfy original movie “Jersey Shore Shark Attack.”
