Born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, Matthew Macfadyen has been working almost non-stop for the last 20 years. While his breakthrough came in an adaptation of ITV’s “Wuthering Heights,” he is known for playing MI5 Intelligence Officer Tom Quinn in BBC’s “Spooks,” Mr. Darcy in “Pride & Prejudice,” Daniel in “Death at a Funeral,” John Birt in “Frost/Nixon,” Guy Lyon Playfair in ” The Enfield Haunting,” and Detective Inspector Edmund Reid in BBC’s and Amazon’s “Ripper Street. ” Other productions he has been include BBC’s” serial “Perfect Strangers,” “Enigma,” “In My Father’s Den,” “Incendiary,” “Enid,” “Robin Hood,” and “Any Human Heart.”
Born in London, England, Hayley Atwell is now best known for playing Agent Peggy Carter in various Marvel TV, video games, and film projects, including “Captain America: The First Avenger,”” Avengers: Age of Ultron,” ” Ant-Man,” and on the short-lived ABC series, “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” On TV, she starred in “Falcón,” “Life of Crime,” and ABC’s “Conviction,” as well as appeared in several miniseries, including “The Prisoner,” “The Pillars of the Earth,” and “Any Human Heart.” Some of her films are “I, Anna,” “The Sweeney,” “Jimi: All Is by My Side,” “Testament of Youth,” “Cinderella,” and “Christopher Robin.”
