SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talks to the actress about how she started her acting career from modeling, her favorite role, and working on the film “The Space Between Us,” starring Asa Butterfield, Britt Robertson, and Gary Oldman.
Mini-Biography:
Born in Sarasota, Florida, Carla Gugino is a familiar actress on both TV and film. Some of the films she was in include the “Spy Kids” trilogy, “Watchmen,” “Sucker Punch,” “Sin City,” “Even Money,” “Night at the Museum,” “Race to Witch Mountain,” “The Mighty Macs,” “Women in Trouble” and sequel “Elektra Luxx,” and “San Andreas.” She was also the voice of Kelor on “Man of Steel,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and on TV’s “Supergirl.” On the small screen, Gugino had the main roles on “Spin City,” “Chicago Hope,” “Karen Sisco,” “Threshold,” “Wayward Pines,” and “Roadies,” as well as recurring parts on “Falcon Crest,” “Entourage,” “Californication,” and “New Girl.” Additionally, she played a Washington D.C. reporter on the miniseries “Political Animals.”
