Mini-Biography:
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Lou Ferrigno is an actor, fitness trainer, and former bodybuilder. In his early career in bodybuilding, he won The International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB)’s Mr. America title and two consecutive IFBB Mr. Universe titles, as well as placed very high in the Mr. Olympia competitions. Ferrigno is best known to TV audiences as the Hulk in the TV series “The Incredible Hulk” and follow-up TV-movies, co-starring the late Bill Bixby. He had a recurring role in the comedy, “The King of Queens.” Ferrigno was also a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice.” He appeared in the documentary, “Pumping Iron,” as well as 1989’s“Sinbad of the Seven Seas,” 1983’s “Hercules,” “The Godson,” “All’s Fair,” “I Love You, Man,” and “Avengers Grimm.” His voice is heard in Marvel’s “The Avengers” films and previous “Hulk” movies.
