SIDEWALKS host Richard R. Lee interviews hip hop mogul Master P and his daughter Cymphonique about their careers and reality show, “Master P’s Family Empire.”

Mini-Biographies:
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Master P (real name Percy Miller) is a recording artist, entrepreneur, author, filmmaker, record producer, and philanthropist. He is the founder of No Limit Records, which later became New No Limit Records, then Guttar Music Entertainment and No Limit Forever Records. He was in the hip-hop group TRU. Some of his albums include “Get Away Clean,” “ Mama’s Bad Boy,” “The Ghettos Tryin to Kill Me!,” “99 Ways to Die,” “Ice Cream Man,” “Ghetto D,” “MP da Last Don,” “Only God Can Judge Me,” “Ghetto Postage,” ”Good Side, Bad Side,” and the recent “Empire, from the Hood to Hollywood,” and three “Ice Cream Man 3” sequel albums. As an actor, Master P appeared in films “I’m Bout It,” “MP Da Last Don,” “I Got the Hook Up,” “The Players Club,” “Hot Boyz,” “Foolish,” “No Tomorrow,” “Lockdown,” “Hollywood Homicide,” “Scary Movie 3,” and “Toxic,” as well as TV shows “Malcolm & Eddie,” “Moesha,” “Dark Angel,” “Oz,” “CSI: NY,” and “The Hughleys.” Master P appeared on “Dancing with the Stars” (Season 2) and his son Romeo’s comedy “Romeo!”

Cymphonique is the daughter of Master P. She is a singer and actress. She starred in the comedy “How To Rock.” In 2013, she released the album, “Passion.” Cymphonique was nominated for “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” at the BET Awards in 2011. She appeared in “Big Time Rush,” “True Jackson VP,” “The Troop,” and “Just Jordan.”
