Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Illeana Douglas is an actress / producer / screenwriter and director. She has recently been in “She’s Funny That Way,” “All Stars,” “Sisters,” “Max Rose,” and “Chez Upshaw.” Other films include “To Die For,” “Goodfellas,” “Cape Fear,” “Alive,” “Search and Destroy,” “Grief,” “Grace of My Heart,” “Picture Perfect,” “Message in a Bottle,” “Happy, Texas,” “Stir of Echoes,” “The Next Best Thing,” “Ghost World,” “Dummy,” “Factory Girl,” and “Pittsburgh.”For over four years, she was the star, writer and director for “Easy to Assemble.” For “Six Feet Under,” she won the Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series award from the Online Film & Television Association and received a Primetime Emmy nomination as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, as well as won a Satellite Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy for an episode of the TV series “Action.“
