Mini-Biography:
Born in Woodside, Queens, New York, Edward Burns is a filmmaker / actor, who appears on both side of the lens. His first film was 1995’s “The Brothers McMullen,” a comedy-drama he financed, produced, directed and starred in. He also produced, wrote, directed and acted in “She’s the One,” “Sidewalks of New York,” “Ash Wednesday,” “The Groomsmen,” “Purple Violets,” “Nice Guy Johnny,” “Newlyweds,” and “The Fitzgerald Family Christmas.” Other acting roles include “Saving Private Ryan,” “One Missed Call,” “Man on a Ledge,” “Alex Cross,” “Echelon Conspiracy,” “27 Dresses,” and “The Holiday.”
