In the extended version recorded at Maker Faire, SIDEWALKS host Richard R. Lee interviews EepyBird’s Stephen Voltz and Fritz Grobe, who are best known for “The Extreme Diet Coke and Mentos Experiments.”

Mini-Biographies:
EepyBird’s consist of Stephen Voltz and Fritz Grobe. With a law degree from the New York University School of Law, Voltz left to be a performer, where he has produced and starred in his own one-man physical comedy show, “The Benefit of Doubt. Meanwhile, Grobe was studying mathematics at Yale University to become a juggler. He toured with the Cirque du Soleil spin-off “Birdhouse Factory.” The duo met in 2000 while studying clowning at the Celebration Barn Theater in South Paris, Maine. As EepyBird, they have their popular website with video experiments; wrote the book “How to Build a Hovercraft”; won a Webby Award and People’s Choice Award (and nominated Emmys) for viral videos; have appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Ellen,” NBC’s “The Today Show,” and “Mythbusters”; and performed around the world, including Paris, New York, San Francisco, London, Istanbul, and Las Vegas. Voltz and Grobe are serving on the Board of Directors for the Celebration Barn Theater.
