SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes interviews the director about his first experience at the Sundance Film Festival and the DVD/Blu Ray release of his feature film, “The Gambler.”
Mini-Biography:
Born and raised in the south of England, Rupert Wyatt is a writer and director, who founded Picture Farm — a production collective and commercial company — that produced documentary “Dark Days,” the short film “Get The Picture,” and “The Baker.” In the feature film world, he wrote and directed “The Escapist,“ which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008 and was nominated for eight international film awards and won two. In 2010, Wyatt directed the box office hit, “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes.” He also directed the TV pilot of “Turn: Washington’s Spies.”
