Mini-Biography:
Originating from East Orange, New Jersey, Naughty By Nature is a Grammy® award-winning rap group featuring members, Treach, Vin Rock, and DJ Kay Gee.
Their first appearance in the music world came with the group’s name as New Style and the album “Independent Leaders.” After the release, the trio was mentored by rapper/actress Queen Latifah and soon became, under the new name, Naughty By Nature.
In 1991, “O.P.P.” was their first hit single on their self-titled album “Naughty by Nature.“ Some of their other hit singles include “Hip Hop Hooray,” “Craziest,” “Feel Me Flow,” “Mourn You Til I Join You,” and “Jamboree.”
The studio albums that followed were “19 Naughty III,” “Poverty’s Paradise”,”Nineteen Naughty Nine: Nature’s Fury,” “IIcons” (featuring Treach and Vin Rock) and the latest “Anthem Inc.”
