Taped at WonderCon 2011, host Richard R. Lee briefly talks to actor Marc Singer about his two iconic roles as “The Beastmaster” and as Mike Donovan on the original V miniseries and TV series, as well as coming back to the V universe on the new reimagined ABC TV series (he appeared on the last episode of the 2nd season finale as a new character). Additionally, Marc talks about the original V creator/producer Kenneth Johnson and what he is doing now.
Mini-Biography:
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Marc Singer is a familiar face to movie and TV audiences. He found fame in playing Dar in the fantasy film “The Beastmaster” and its sequels. He found additional fame playing Mike Donovan in the 1983 mini-series “V,” the 1984 sequel “V: The Final Battle, “and the followup TV series. Other film roles include: “If You Could See What I Hear,” “Body Chemistry,” “Something for Joey,” “Watchers II,” “High Desert Kill,” “The Fighter,” “Go Tell the Spartans,” “Dead Space,” and “A Man Called Sarge.” On TV, Marc voiced the character of Man-Bat on “Batman: The Animated Series.”
