SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes talks to the actor best known as Bobby Drake / Iceman in the long-running “X-Men” film series. Additionally, he tells us about how he handles having a twin brother, Aaron Ashmore (“Smallville,” “Warehouse 13”), who is also acting in the business.
Mini-Biography:
Born in Richmond, British Columbia, Shawn Ashmore is best known for his roles in “Animorphs,” his current FOX series “The Following,” and as Bobby Drake / Iceman in the “X-Men” film series. Along with being the lead in “In a Heartbeat,” he has been seen in TV projects, such as “Smallville,” “Fringe,” “Real Kids, Real Adventures,” and his voice in “The Super Hero Squad Show.” Other projects include “Cadet Kelly,” “Mother’s Day,” “Frozen” (2008),“ “Mariachi Gringo,” and “Solstice.”
