Wil's Frontier
Born in Burbank, California, Wil Wheaton is
an actor and writer.
Wil's acting debut was in the TV-movie "A Long Way
Home" (1981), followed by 1982 animated film, "The
Secret of NIMH." He gained worldwide fame in 1986 as
Gordie LaChance in "Stand by Me."
He then became an original member of the TV cast of
Star Trek: The Next Generation, playing Wesley
Crusher during the show's first four seasons.
After leaving Star Trek, Wil went into the
technology field, including working at NewTek, where
he helped to develop the company's Video Toaster
4000.
Wil has sporadically returned to acting in front of
the camera and as a voice actor, including
appearances in Numb3rs, Criminal Minds,
Teen Titans, Kyle + Rosemary,
Family Guy, Batman: The Brave and the Bold,
and The Big Bang Theory.
Wil is also known as a writer, especially his blog,
Wil Wheaton Dot Net. His published books are
"Dancing Barefoot," "Just a Geek," and "The Happiest
Days of Our Lives."

Trek: The Next Generation, his deleted
appearance in the film, "Star Trek Nemesis," his
